GitLab¶
We host GitLab on-premises alongside ChemLab. This allows users and ChemLab to share code examples, contribute changes to quantum computing packages, and publish parts of their projects that they want to make publicly available, all within the same platform ecosystem.
Our GitLab installation supports Single Sign-On (SSO). When a you sign in to ChemLab and select the GitLab menu item, you are automatically signed in to GitLab using your ChemLab account. No additional authentication is required.
Because of SSO, you do not need to create a separate account for our GitLab instance. Once signed in, you can create and manage GitLab repositories related to chemistry and other supported topics.
You retain full control over your data. ChemLab does not access or publish your GitLab repositories without your permission. You decide whether your repositories and other GitLab resources are private or public by using GitLab’s standard access control and visibility settings.
